You have to know you can trust the Melbourne DJ you have hired otherwise you are going to have the most nerve wracking party or event. So how do you know you can trust the DJ? Well, it is the same way that you know you can trust the caterers or the bar or the waiters or the florist and so on. You have to do your research in advance. You have to use suppliers who come highly recommended to you. You have to choose suppliers who have a really good track record. You have to use suppliers who are experienced, who are really good at their jobs, who want to do the work, who always show up on time, who always get the job done the way they are hired to do it, and even, who always go the extra mile. A supplier can tell you that they do all of this in the most confident manner but, how do you really know you can trust them? It is all about references and contacts and networks.

If someone asks me about DJ hire I will never recommend a DJ unless I have first-hand experience with that DJ. The same with any supplier; I am not recommending a plumber, electrician, landscaper or painter, or similar, without genuinely knowing the quality of their work. When you look for a supplier, look at their website. Go on to the internet and do a quick search and find reviews and references. If you cannot find anything, you might want to try a different supplier. You can ask your community groups, your friends and colleagues, or anyone who has hosted a similar event, for ideas and recommendations. And then do your own research.
